There is a lot of panic and fake information running amok about coronavirus right now. Everywhere you look, there is a new story about someone being infected by the virus, or someone losing their life. Social media is filled with scary memes and fear-mongering.
This does not help anyone. While the coronavirus is a serious threat and one that should absolutely be treated as such, it doesn’t help anyone to go into a panic.
Right now, the average US citizen is extremely safe. The odds of contracting the disease – even if you plan on traveling – are vanishingly small. There are countless more pressing issues to concern yourself with.
